HubPages is an article writing website, you can earn money on here by writing good quality hubs based on how to's experiences and so much more. The ways that you can earn money on them is by signing up for the eBay ,Amazon and Google Adsense programs, there is also just the regular ad program from Hubpages itself and that generates you money if you work hard at it and are consistent.

Writing hubs take time and effort, you need to do your research about what you are writing about so that you can provide good quality content for Google and other places to crawl the hubs and generate your views.

You need to write at least 5 hubs in order to pass their "Boot Camp" Stage which then tosses the content further out into the world and it may or may not bring results that you are looking for, now all your hubs won't generate an income but most of them may if they are featured and you continue to write.
